About Tiffani Loudon

Tiffani LoudonTiffani Loudon hails from Port Orchard, Washington, where she was born on Leap Day in 1976. She started riding at age 5 and joined Peninsula Pony Club, graduating with her "A" rating. She was a three time winner of the coveted US Cavalry Award for the best scoring Pony Club Member in CCI events with Steeplechase. She later became involved in the Area VII Young Rider Program and was selected to the team four times to compete at the North American Young Rider Championships, earning a Silver Medal.

At age nineteen, Tiffani moved to Blythewood, South Carolina to become a working student and further her equestrian career. She was shortlisted by the United States Equestrian Team in 1998 for the European Young Rider Championships, in 1999 for the Pan American Games and in 2000 for the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Her major International wins include: The Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event- CCI***, the most prestigious 3-Day event in the Western Hemisphere, where she is still in the record books as the youngest rider ever to have won the event; the Inaugural Fox Hall Cup CCI*** in Georgia; the Camino Real CCI** in Buffalo, Texas and the Ocala CCI** in Florida. Her equestrian experience includes numerous top 3 placings in 3-day events and horse trials throughout the United States and Canada as well as England and Scotland. She currently works as a successful trainer, clinician, and instructor and has been a selector and trainer for the Area III Young Riders Program for the past 10 years.

 

In 2004 Tiffani married Paul Meetze in Blythewood, SC and they have a daughter, Channing Meetze. They are continuing to build their equestrian facility on 97 beautiful acres in Winnsboro, SC, where Tiffani continues to train and bring along horses for competition with the goal of riding in International competitions and representing her country.
